Abstract/Description

This study aims to examine the existing policies, institutions and processes (PIPs) for supporting climate resilient and sustainable agriculture in Myanmar’s Dry Zone. In particular, it takes up an analyses of the role of the National Environment Policy (NEP), the National Comprehensive Development Plan (NCDP) and the National Strategy on Poverty Alleviation and Rural Development (NSPARD) in supporting climate resilient and sustainable agriculture (CRSA) in the Dry Zone, as a specific case of PIPs.
