The objectives:
- To organize and conduct training courses for dissemination and
application of policy analysis models for Asia and Pacific
countries.
- To prepare, print and distribute publications containing the
preliminary outcomes and findings of the ECOPOL project
- To support and assist activities for the ECOPOL project..
The activities:
- Promotion of technical co-operation among developing countries
(TCDC) is a major thrust of the project as the participating
countries and their experts became able to exchange knowledge and
experience in the course of implementation of the ECOPOL project and
the training courses; and.
- The training course for model building and application, and data
collection and policy analysis also contributed to human resources
development by enhancing analytical skills and planning capability
of economic policies in the participating countries.
The outcomes:
- Knowledge and experience transferred in policy analysis and
application;
- Capability of building policy analysis tools and its
application; and
- User’s guides and policy analysis reports :
