CAPSA Flash is a monthly bulletin published by UNESCAP-CAPSA. This
bulletin aims at bringing valuable economic information from all of Asia
and the Pacific (and sometimes beyond) about so-called "secondary crops"
and poverty alleviation issues to where Asian and Pacific scientists and
decision makers need it most at their place of work. This bulletin
consists of five types of information. The Short Article, is a
one-page synthesis on a topic related to the situation and prospects of
crops in Asia and the Pacific. Breaking News provides up-to-date
information regarding any important event that might have a bearing on
the future of secondary crops in Asia and the Pacific. In the Brief
section, there are short paragraphs relating to facts on specific
secondary crops or specific issues concerning the crops. The Book
Review relates relevant information about recent publications
concerning these crops and/or poverty issues. Finally, some information
on workshops, seminars, conferences and training related to secondary
crops is included in the Event section.
We hope CAPSA Flash will meet your expectations but we still would
like to receive your feedback and suggestions, as well as your
contributions, in order to tailor CAPSA Flash more and more to your
wants and your needs. |
