The library collects information on socio-economic or policy aspects of
secondary crops – coarse grains, pulses, roots and tubers with
particular emphasis on their production, trade and marketing. The focus
is now widening on information
on rural poverty alleviation
in Asia and the Pacific region. The library collects different kinds of
materials including reports, research studies, proceedings, statistics,
bibliographies, external publications, journals, newsletters and others.
The materials are acquired from a variety of sources ranging from gifts
to exchanges to materials purchased from well-known publishers. |
