CAPSA's Information Service team provides and
distributes socio-economic information and data related to poverty
alleviation and secondary crop development to member countries and
relevant institutes:
-
The operation of
the Library:
The collection up to mid-2007 reached 8,000 titles (books,
statistics, directories, etc.) and more than 400 journals. The
library opens for the public from Monday to Friday (08.00 - 3.30) and
offers a photocopy service, an on-line catalogue, and an inter-library
loan and exchange programme.
-
Publications and dissemination:
The Centre publishes monographs, working papers, CAPSA Flash
(a monthly bulletin) and Palawija News (a newsletter
published three times a year). These are distributed to research
institutions, libraries, universities and individuals worldwide in
hard copy and by electronic distribution.
-
Other products:
A publication catalogue is published every 2 years and available
upon request and from this website. CAPSA also publishes
brochures (about CAPSA and its activities), posters, a
CD-ROM and other give-away materials.
Visitors to our web site can use the on-line media to browse and purchase the Centre’s
publications and products (E-commerce). This programme is made possible by the
support from IDRC-PanAsia and ASEAN Foundation.
