Abstract: |
This book is a proceeding of a national seminar on the development of secondary crops-based agribusiness in Indonesia: its role in improving food security and poverty alleviation. The seminar was initiated by UNCAPSA and Indonesian Centre for Food Crops Research and Development (ICFORD). It was attended by farmers, agribusiness players, researchers, agricultural scientists and policy planners. Aspects discussed cover a wide domensions including research and development, strategy/policy and programmes to develop agroindustrial sector, marketing and trade, success stories, as well as problems faced by farmers. |
